The Anon M4 is a large goggle with interchangeable lenses that use Magna-Tech, magnets to easily switch from one lens to another. It has the widest filed of vision, thanks to it's very wide fit. This is where the M4S comes in a smaller version of this phenominal M4 goggle.

The frame of the M4 is about 1 cm wider then the M4S frame. Both come with a snug Polartech triple layer foam between your face and the frame. They also come with Magna-Tech which make it super easy to exchange lenses, in case weather conditions change. Lastly both have an MFI interface, which allows you to connect MFI masks to your goggle on windy or snowy days.

Every M4 or M4S goggle comes with a spare lens and a MFI mask.

Cylindrical or toric lens?

Both the Anon M4S and M4 offer you a choice between toric and cylindrical lenses, providing with the style you like. However, there are also some differences between these two, besides the looks.

Cylindcial lens

The surface of cylindrical lenses is curved on the horizontal axis only, wrapping securely around the face while remaining flat vertically. Cylindrical lenses have a more retro aesthetic and are often preferred specifically for their style.

• Cylindrical lenses can sit slightly closer to the face, allowing them to provide a large field of view with a smaller over-all goggle profile.
• The flat nature of a cylindrical lens creates opportunity for more venting volume in a goggle.
• Less expensive cylindrical lenses made from stamped sheets can produce distortion and increase eye fatigue The Anon M4 and M4S injected cylindrical lenses feature tapering at the edges that help to eliminate distortion and reduce eye fatigue.
• In some applications, the viewing field of cylindrical lenses from top-to-bottom up may be less than toric lenses.

Toric lens

Toric lenses combine the best qualities of cylindrical lenses and spherical lenses. Toric lenses curve horizontally and vertically, but the vertical curve is less pronounced than that of a spherical lens to improve the vent volume potential of the goggle frame.

• The shape of toric lenses substantially decreases peripheral distortion for maximum clarity of vision.
• Toric lenses provide ample room between the face and the lens, which allows for increased ventilation and decreases the chance of fogging while maximizing the peripheral field of view.

Anon Perceive lens tints & colors

Anon’s proprietary goggle lens technology is called Perceive. Perceive goggle lenses enhance contrast and clarity across every tint level so skiers and snowboarders can get the absolute truest vision and the most accurate perception of the surrounding environment, regardless of light and weather conditions.

Anon Perceive lenses are available in several different tints, each one purpose-built for a different VLT condition. The color of a goggle lens is often related to its tint, in that lower VLT lenses are usually a darker color. Also, goggle lenses that are intended for bright light use may include a mirrored finish to reflect light, reduce glare, and decrease eye fatigue in sunny conditions.
