Gnu Gremlin snowboard

Gremlin is Gnu's answer to Lib Tech's Orca. This board is really something different. It follows the so-called ''volume shifter'' principle. You can ride this board 2 cm shorter than you are used to. Gremlin is both an off-piste board and a carving board. Profile: C3 (Camber)
The favorite profile of Jamie Lynn and Fredi Kalbermatten. Then you already know that the C3 stands for ultimate precision with very minimal rocker. Powerful camber at the tip and tail, which further reduces the rocker profile. This profile gives ultimate edge hold, powerful pop, precision and power for your carves and lines. The perfect profile for aggressive snowboarding.

Shape: Directional
A directional board has a nose that is longer than the tail of the snowboard, which provides more control on steep sections and less effort in powder. The flex of the board is also asymmetrical, with the tail usually stiffer for better turns and stability. The nose is often made less stiff, which gives you a better float. The inserts of the board are more towards the tail, the deviation from which is indicated by inches (setback). Directional boards can be ridden on the left front or right front, but their strength lies in riding the preferred side.

Core: G2
GNU's G2 core is a mix of Aspen and Paulownia. With this core you have a board that rides nice and stable and can create a lot of pop.

Fiberglass top sheet: Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Fiber
The Tri-Ax fiberglass layer provides extra pop and the Bi-Ax fiberglass layer provides extra direct force transmission from the bindings to the steel edges.

Base: Sintered Knife Cut
A sintered base gives you the best gliding ability. You will have to take off your binding or walk on a path a lot less because this base just wants to keep going. The base consists of small granules of plastic that are pressed together, leaving air in between where wax can be added. You do have to wax a sintered base more often, but if you do this properly you will notice it! Especially in warmer conditions, you will continue to slide, and an extruded base will create a vacuum that will slow it down.

Sidewalls: UHMW
UHMW is one of the strongest thermoplastics available today. This ensures that you don't have to have your board repaired every time you hit a box, rail or skis.

Steel edge: Magne-Traction
If you've ever driven on ice, you know how quickly you can lose control. Magne-Traction cuts through ice and hard snow with 7 waves in the steel edge. Simply put, your steel edge bites into the ice instead of cutting it, just like a serrated knife does into bread. But in normal snow on piste it provides control and edgehold which gives you the confidence to maintain speed. You will especially feel this when making turns or when carving.
