Profile: C3
The favorite profile of Jamie Lynn and Fredi Kalbermatten. Then you already know that the C3 stands for ultimate precision with very minimal rocker. Powerful camber at the tip and tail, which further reduces the rocker profile. This profile provides ultimate edge hold, powerful pop, precision and power for your carves and lines. The perfect profile for aggressive snowboarding.

Shape: Directional
A directional board has a nose that is longer than the tail of the snowboard, which provides more control on steep sections and less effort in powder. The flex of the board is also asymmetrical, with the tail usually stiffer for better turns and stability. The nose is often made less stiff, which gives you a better float. The inserts of the board are more towards the tail, the deviation from which is indicated by inches (setback). Directional boards can be ridden on the left front or right front, but their strength lies in riding the preferred side.

Core: Aspen / Paulownia
GNU's G1 core consists largely of Aspen wood. To make the snowboard lighter, there are 2 lanes on the heelside of the board and 1 lane on the toeside with Paulownia wood in the core.

Topsheet fiberglass: Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Fiber
The Tri-Ax fiberglass layer provides extra pop and the Bi-Ax fiberglass layer provides extra direct force transmission from the bindings to the steel edges.

Base: Eco Sublimated Co-Ex
An extruded base gives you great ease of maintenance. Waxing is required less often than with a sintered board and if you have a scratch in your board, it is much easier to fill. An extruded base also ensures that your board gets a better price. An extruded base absorbs less wax than a sintered base.

Sidewalls: UHMW
UHMW is one of the strongest thermoplastics available today. This ensures that you don't have to have your board repaired every time you hit a box, rail or skis.

Steel edge: Magne-Traction
If you've ever driven on ice, you know how quickly you can lose control. Magne-Traction cuts through ice and hard snow with 7 waves in the steel edge. Simply put, your steel edge bites into the ice instead of cutting it, just like a serrated knife does into bread. But in normal snow on piste it provides control and edgehold which gives you the confidence to maintain speed. You will especially feel this when making turns or when carving.
