Lib Tech Ryme snowboard

The Ryme is a wonderfully slightly stiffer park board. The board remains very stable at higher speeds and therefore also when you ride some bigger kickers. If you ride mainly in smaller parks, no problem. The Ryme is great for jibbing, jumping and freestyle riding in general. Its C3 camber gives a lot of control, pop and stability. The core consists mainly of aspen which is a stiffer wood, to make it a bit lighter they have incorporated 2 strips of paulownia wood. The Magne-traction ensures that you stay upright on ice, which in turn gives a more secure feeling.

Profile: C3
The favourite profile of Jamie Lynn and Fredi Kalbermatten. Then you already know that the C3 stands for ultimate precision with very minimal rocker. Powerful camber at the tip and tail making the rocker profile disappear even more. This profile gives ultimate edge hold, powerful pop, precision and power for your carves and lines. The perfect profile for aggressive snowboarding.

Shape: true twin
A true twin is exactly symmetrical, so it doesn't matter if you go down in front left or right, the board feels the same. With a true twin, both the shape of the board and its core are the same. True Twin is perfect for people who do a lot of switch riding, or do tricks where you turn with your board, because then the board feel is always the same on landings.

Core: 75% aspen / 25% paulownia
More than half of Lib Tech's core consists of aspen, which is a heavier type of wood. To make the snowboard lighter, there are two strips of paulownia wood in the core.

Base: eco sublimated TNT
Lib Tech's TNT base is, according to them, the best base available. Not because it glides the best, but because it maintains the ease of maintenance of an extruded base, but glides a lot better than an extruded base and in doing so, goes in the direction of the sintered bases. The base consists of double-bearing fluoro material. Eco sublimated is a very technical story but simply means that this base is made ecologically friendly.

Sidewalls: UHWM sintered / birch internal
UHWM is one of the strongest thermoplastics currently available. This ensures that you don't have to have your board repaired every time you hit a box, rail or skis. On the inside of your sidewalls is a thin layer of birch, this type of wood is very strong and flexible which allows your sidewall to better distribute and absorb the force of an impact.

Steel sidewall: magne-traction
If you've ever ridden on ice, you know how quickly you can lose control there. Magne-traction cuts through ice and hard snow with 7 wavy bumps. Simply put, your steel edge bites into the ice instead of cutting just like a serrated knife does into bread. But in normal snow on the slopes, it gives control and hold which gives you the confidence to maintain speed. You will feel this especially with turns where you put power in or while carving.
